take my hand
gaze at the stars
see the glow of distant mars
we sit together
upon a hill
waiting, waiting ever still
we watch the horizon
as it gets lighter
the celestial bodies shining ever brighter
then the moment
we are waiting for
the Earth rises up once more
you stand and point
at its blue skies
its beauty reflected in your eyes
